The Outlining method is the best fit for those who lack structure when taking notes. The outlining method is great at helping identify and distinguish the main point from the supporting points, to draw attention to the main themes and reducing the amount of unnecessary information that goes into the notes. It also ensures no content is lost when being written down. 

The structure provided by this style of note-taking keeps your notes clear and concise. The nature of this style keeps the information organised in an analytical and coherent way. The outlining method is suitable for taking down notes during lectures, discussions and meetings.
