 Scenario

A group of 4 has divided their work equally between themselves. However, one of the group members is always missing and not doing their work. This causes a lot of problems since the other 3 members are affected by this group member's lack of participation.

Causes of conflict

Lack of participation from a team member.

Solution 

  • Do the group work together so that everyone can be monitored.
  • Ask if he/she have any problems with doing the work or if he/she doesn’t understand something.
  • Be patient and try to talk it out among your group members.
