Inefficient Task Delegation

Scenario

Team members were assigned tasks contradicting their capabilities. This caused confusion and reduced the quality of the assignment handed in. 

Cause of the conflict

Poor delegation of tasks.

Resolution

  • Leader should observe members and assign tasks according to the members’ strengths.
  • Members should speak up if the task given may be difficult and ask for redelegation of tasks.
