The Importance of Goal Setting

With the initial priority of setting one's goals, it opens a variety of efficient routes to the overall duration in which a task towards the goal is finished. As an example, it can be recognized that with the setting of a goal, it is similar to planning out a destination; it is harder to follow or make a route if there is no final destination in mind. To further add on, it is made easier to construct a list of what must be done to achieve the goal when utilizing the SMART goal setting technique which compromises of formatting the goal to be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound. With this in mind, one's journey towards the set goals becomes that much easier as it lays a foundation and a drive.
