The Traditional Learning Style
A read/write learner is someone who read and/or write down the information to learn something. They prefer to learn by reading notes, handouts and textbooks. They also benefit by rewriting notes and rereading notes silently again and again.
Here are some tips for read/write learners:
1. Write out the words multiple times.
2. Read notes (silently or out loud) again and again.
3. Rewrite the ideas and principles into other words.
4. Practice with multiple choice questions and exam answers.
These are just a handful of the excellent reading and writing tools that are available to learners. Reading and rereading, as well as writing and rewriting everything, is the key. You will be more successful the more you practice!
